The Covid pandemic numbers are still surging in Central MA. It hit a little closer to home recently as a member of my church recently sucumbed to the disease. I remember Warren as a wise, good natured contributor to council meetings until health problems necessitated his move to a nursing home a few years ago. If you don’t know of anyone yet who has had the virus perhaps that is a sign that social distancing is working. Carry on.
Hope you were able to spend some time outdoor this weekend. Ann and I took out our bicycles and have had a couple nice rides.
Best trail camera photos of the week:
This pregnant and curious doe, after a 200 day gestation, will have her fawns in May or June. She’ll likely have twins, perhaps triplets, and will birth and hide each one in a different location to minimize the chance of a predator finding each of them. They 5-8 pound offspring will stay hidden for two weeks with the doe only visiting them twice a day to feed them.
