Sundays are usually worship and family/social/recreation days when I try not to do too much farm work other than follow “the ox fell in the well” Biblical practices; but Ann had a phone call obligation and when I saw that Monday’s forecast looked like rain I spent several hours digging post holes in hopes I could get the white railing fence all in next week. I made some progress and when Ann finished her call we walked down the new trail through our woods down to where it meets the rail trail. It was surprisingly warm and comfortable once we reached the woods and were out of the wind.
We had a video call with my mom and she looked and sounded great. Later, I guess all the post hole digging caught up with me because I fell asleep on the couch; so I guess I did get some Sunday rest and relaxation.
Hope you all had a nice Mother’s Day and are ready to face another week.
First photo: Best trail camera photo of the week. No great photos this week; but here are a couple raccoons.
Second photo: The sheep hanging out in the run-in shelter under the barn after another snowy and cold May night.
